Tucked away down a side road you might wonder how this pub keeps going. The reason it does is that it is known for being a great traditional local pub. Nothing flashy or pretentious, but good plain food at sensible prices, decent beer, friendly staff. It feels welcoming as soon as you walk in and an evening there is time well spent.
Lived in the area for 19 years and regret not going here before today, absolute gem of a place. Staff 5 Service 5 Food 5 Drinks choice 5 3rd visit and once again not disappointed, food delicious and in a great family friendly environment. Will return 100
Had a lovely family meal with our 5yr old. A very cosy atmosphere, loved the little wood burner features. The food was lovely and 1st class service from the staff. Will be definitely going back.
Never knew this pub existed before to be honest went with the kids a friends wow the staff was amazing we didn't have food but I can say that it looked amazing and smelt beautiful fair play Réservez une table maintenant
