Visited this place today 23/4/23. Don’t live in the area but our 2 sons were at the WBA v Sunderland game, so while we were waiting for them we thought we would go in this place and have a drink whilst watching the game on TV. All was good had a couple of drinks then they realise we were there as SAFC supporters. A 60 odd year old woman sat behind us was trying to goad us all game but we never reacted. Sat with 3 other men all WBA supporters who were lovely. As soon as the game finished we were asked to leave, we were finishing our drinks when the said family sat behind us starting shouting about us indirectly, a man came over to my husband and got in his face. We did leave as we were going...
Food has definitely deteriorated over the past few months. Boneless chicken, and I know it’s cooked over charcoal, was burnt, very dry and especially chewy. Chicken wings again were very dry and chewy despite their crispy skin. The girl serving the food needs to learn how to smile as her attitude was disgusting, she actually made me feel uncomfortable to be sitting there. Best thing about our meal was the Nan bread and fresh salad. Male bar staff pleasant as always serving an excellent range of drinks.
went this evening for my dads birthday and i have to say what a let down... the waitress pretty much just chucked the food on the table with no regard, i ended up fetching the rest of the order myself from the counter as she either forgot or just did'nt care and to be honest i think it was the latter one.....this used to be somewhere i would totally recommend to somewhere i would totally avoid....... such a shame aswell it was such a good place to eat
I am extremely disappointed with my recent dining experience at this restaurant. After hearing good things about it, we decided to give it a try. However, we were let down by the quality of the food and the high price of the large mixed grill. The kam h curry we ordered was also disappointing, as it was overly sweet. Sadly, we will not be returning to this restaurant again. Réservez une table maintenant
I ordered a curry and rice, but it arrived very cold. When I asked for a new, warm meal, they returned it to me mixed together with rice and microwaved (very poor food quality). When I requested a refund, they gave me attitude and began gossiping about me with other staff members. I highly recommend avoiding this place as there are much better dining options nearby!
Came after the baggies game on Sunday, service was very very fast for how busy it was. Started with a mixed grill which was ok, only 3 different meals and quite pricey compared to other places. Then had the clay pot chicken with rice and naan. It was exceptional, will definitely be returning for another curry. Lots of tv screens and very fast service at the bar.
