The Stables At Vayre House

A superb little spot with very welcoming staff and excellent food. It's quietly tucked away, and I wouldn't have thought to find a lovely restaurant where The Stables is, but the location is lovely, with a nice bit of garden, outdoor seating and a decent amount of parking. The food was very enjoyable a small but excellently curated menu focusing on doing a few things and doing them well and they had a nice selection of drinks, including my all time favourite, a wonderful Pedro Ximenez (which I strongly recommend to any Port lover). I had a wonderful experience at The Stables for afternoon tea. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! I would highly recommend this place for brunch. The vegetarian options were clearly labeled and delicious. There was plenty of parking available in the free parking lot. The atmosphere was fantastic. I give this place a 5 out of 5 rating for both food and service.
