Came here for dinner last night hoping for a good time. Got seated fast. We ordered appetizers, soup, and crabs were what we ordered for dinner. This is where the night got confusing. The board the waitress gave us said the crabs were $55 a dozen formedium so that?s what we got. There were tables all around us getting their food/crabs before we got ours. We were seated andordered before these people even got here. Took over 45min. to get our crabs meanwhile our appetizer and soups are finished.Fast forward to the end of dinner and we get our check -the $55 dozen crabs that were on the board ended up being $58 the creamof crab soup on the menu said $4.50 and we were charged $5.25 how can pric...
I was in search of a new spot to buy crabs and came across The Stable on Google. Customer service is really important to me, and I have to say, I received outstanding assistance from the young lady who took my order for a dozen large male crabs, as well as from the gentleman who helped me when I picked them up. The crabs were quite big (I even got a few extra-large ones), and while the flavor was decent to good, I felt it could have been better. I typically steam my crabs with beer, so that might have influenced the taste a bit, but it wasn't a major issue. I definitely plan to return.
The bands here are fantastic, and the owners are wonderful people. Goldie is an exceptional server. However, the owner's son is implementing some changes as the new manager, and unfortunately, I really dislike the new ticket system. It often forces you to sit closely with strangers at the tables, which can be uncomfortable. The tables are packed together, and the bar frequently runs out of drinks like Deep Eddy's and Truly. I'm also not a fan of having to provide my credit card upfront just to have dinner. These changes have made me visit less frequently than I used to.
Not a good evening! Let me explain! Mother has dementia so tonight was not good. She had an episode. That being said?. The staff was fantastic and very understanding. We ordered Hubby took mom home while I waited for the meals. Dinners came! Mom?s steakcooked to perfection! The ribs my hubby said were awesome and my shrimp was a little over done. They gave me to go boxes and weate at home. I tasted the food while it was hot. We will be back but not with mom. Thank you for being so understanding. We willbe back!!!!!!!! 5 stars from us. Absolutely a great experience every time I visit! The shrimp salad is excellent—it's my go-to dish, and I always finish it. The portion sizes are generous for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is enjoyable with live music, a well-sized bar, and friendly staff in a clean environment. It’s definitely family-friendly, though it tends to lean towards an adult crowd later in the evening. They also offer matchbooks for you to take as you leave, which is a neat collectible that many restaurants no longer provide.
Yesterday around 11:45 am, we stumbled upon The Stables, where we discovered they were offering an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet until 1:30 pm. After checking out both the buffet and the regular menu, we opted for the buffet because it looked incredible. It did not disappoint! The chef even made our daughter a Mickey Mouse pancake, which she adored. We will certainly return. The food was excellent! We’re also looking forward to trying some dishes from the menu!
The food here is always fantastic, especially the burgers, shrimp salad, and rib specials. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The service is friendly, although it can be a bit inconsistent depending on who is behind the bar. The table staff is generally excellent. I do wish they offered a wider selection of draft beers, particularly in the craft, hazy, and IPA categories.
