The Stag And Hounds

I am disappointed to write this review, but the quality and quantity of the food at this restaurant were not great. It took an hour for our food to be served, and when some of it was burnt, the Chef refused to remake it. The waitress was apologetic, but there was not much she could do to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had, and I will not be returning to this establishment.

This restaurant is an Ember Inn and it is well-liked by locals and visitors alike. The food is tasty and they often have deals, such as a meal and a drink for £5.95 before 5:00pm. They have a great selection of cask ales and reasonably priced wines. There is no loud music, you can sample cask ale before purchasing, and if you're lucky, the owner may even put your favorite beer on tap.

I recently visited this cozy pub with a great set-up. I enjoyed a few drinks here last week and was pleased with the affordable prices. The music playing added to the lively atmosphere, and the bar staff were friendly and attentive.
