Four of us ate here in the restaurant. Starters wild mushrooms in cream/garlic on bread. Mains gammon, braised beef, pork belly and fish and chips. Desserts apple and rhubarb crumble. The service was excellent and food hot and tasty. Excellent portions and well priced. Only one suggestion the crumble top needed cooking/browning more. it was pale and tasted floury. Also be nice to have some background music as only a couple of tables occupied.
I suppose the title ‘red wine served with a head’, says it all. What surprised me more than seeing a glass of wine with a red froth was that waitress didn’t seem to think this the least unusual.
Food of decent quality, staff friendly and helpful, The Stage itself is a lively and fairly noisey music venue, so as long as you bear this in mind you should have no complaints.
Frequent visitors. We visited for lunch today. Lovely as usual especially the chips. Proper homemade chips. Were gorgeous!! Generous portions on all food. Thank you Réservez une table maintenant
I have visited the stage regularly over the years and earlier this year I really thought they had cracked it with a new menu and new chef- I was wrong!
Nice venue on a summers day. Went for a wedding reception a few months ago, staff very pleasant. Must go back and try the restaurant.
Nice for a coffee and chat with friends in a lounge setting or a meal of an evening. Nice venue in the middle of Market Deeping.
Had a nice quiet drink. Being middle of the week, it was nice and quiet and relaxing and not that many people about Réservez une table maintenant
My friend I had Sunday lunch carvery. We ate quite early but still the food was only luke warm and cold plates.
