I went this week with a group of friends there, my first time and I was pleasantly surprised, I didn't know that meals were served there. eating was really great, I had a steak and it was perfectly cooked. I loved the veggie anti-loss star. the personal was professional, friendly and very helpful and the room warm and welcoming. I'll be back!
Thoroughly enjoyed the carvery today. Couldn't decide between Turkey, Gammon and Beef so was offered a small amount of each! Great service, great food, clean restaurant. Would definitely recommend. Well done The Stag for turning things around we will be back
Four people ate from the classics menu....2 courses....including drinks from the bar, a bottle of wine and all having a sauce with the steak....£99....terrific value, excellent service and the food was lovely. Will be definitely be going back!

last night had the best meal for my surprise engaged! cook for 30 people and they made an amazing job! the whole food came out at the same time and it was delicious! many thanks! will definitely come back!
