we are so glad that we have tried this restaurant right on the beach in hermosa. the whole experience was great. first the dishes we ordered were all delicious, with great taste combinations, great presentation, and an obviously great ingredient. we tried the mushroom pasta, the entenpasta, the braided shortribs and the truffle fountain. it started with the appetizer not only was it served with warm homemade bread, but it was very truffly with many black truffle flakes. really gave such a great taste. the shortribs melted in our mouth, and the homemade pastas have a texture and bite that they only expect in a top Italian restaurant. a pasta court to escape to base seems to be easy, but we ha...

this is a long overdue review as it is a year ago, since we visited the place first and since then many paintings were there. eating is very fresh and gourmet, so of course we are very happy to have this jewel in our neighboring. this is a wonderful place to take our favorite friends for dinner when they come for a day on the beach. also the owner is very friendly. we love to hang in this restaurant after dinner and enjoy their amazing desserts and laugh at the huge window while the city is swallowed by the fog at cooler nights. it's just one of our favorite places in town.

I went to the stanton for the first time a few months ago and it was pretty good. but went in the first week of jan’22 and they had changed their chef. that was terrible. the Thai suppe had no salt, the oysters came with a really beautiful green mignonette and that was changed for just like carrots or reddishly soaked into vinegar. the quality of the oysters themselves was really different. the lamm bolognese was still gone from scratching. tried as load bought noodles and I would have done myself. better start hitting the beach house!

the stanton ananas jalapeño margarita is delicious and only $10 during the happy hour! I think I had 7 lol, but they're just too good, not! their oysters are also so tasty and a steal too happy hour. I love a good happy hour and the stanton in hermosa beach always delivers!

The food was absolutely delicious. Pictured below is the oysters and crab fries that we started off with. Fantastic. I also ordered the short ribs which were also great.The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed from the start.
