Six of us arrived after a funeral No problem finding us a table despite being busyExcellent beer I’m told and vast menuWe all chose and were taken into the dining roomEach meal was well presented and we all enjoyed tasty foodThe dining room could be refreshed Tasty coffee was enjoyedGood service by polite staff

Went with family , 6 adults, the ambience and food were just as I remembered and expected, very friendly and lovely, best place around for a good meal home cooked and choice of ales. Will certainly continue going back.

Had a great time at the Star Inn last night, delicious meal with lots of choice and large portions. The lamb Henry was divine and the Tiramisu is yummy The staff were attentive and polite. Would highly recommend.

Went here with friends (8), the food and service was absolutely fantastic one of the best places we have visited. Never been before but will be returning soon

Had lovely meal at The star once again the staff are lovely make you feel very welcome will be going again the lamb is lovely
