While I’ve primarily had their pastas and salads, some members of my party have enjoyed their pizzas and sandwiches, and based on their feedback and my taste tests, I can confidently say that The Star Cafe excels in pastas and pizzas. Although some dishes may be on the pricier side, the generous portions and quality make it worthwhile, especially with the unlimited bread.

I was having a **** day today and all I wanted was one good meal! when you called to tell me I couldn't have mashed potatoes with my lunch I ordered, I got so so sad. I know its only food but with all the **** that has been going on in my life, Food has been comfort. Then you made the arrangements and let me have my mashed potatoes. your kindness and effort to go out of your way for me means more then you know. agai its just food, but this lunch is the pick me up I needed and your kindness was a blessing. thank you
This restaurant is charming, and the service is exceptional. The lasagna was wonderfully cheesy and tasted wonderful. The bolognese sauce was excellent, and the rolls were a real treat too. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate their Christmas decorations!
Update: Tonight, the salmon, fresh squash, and rice were all cooked to perfection and had just the right flavor—no salt overload at all. Could it be that they took my feedback to heart? The lemon sauce was excellent as well. A very satisfying meal!

The food here is fantastic! The staff is friendly and personable. We used to walk to the restaurant from our home, but now we drive. It's my favorite café. Just so you know, I'm actually a good cook, and their recipes are exceptional!
I had my engagement dinner at the Star Cafe in Montrose with a 25 guest party. The manager and all the workers were amazing and helpful. The food was good and the surroundings were very nice.
Attended a birthday party for 20 or so people. Private area in the rear for parties. Excellent food and excellent service. Three hour free parking in the back.
One of our favorite places! My fav, the Bar-B-Q chicken pizza! Their ceasar house salad is a great side dish, too!

Best hand made ravioli! The sauce was light and flavorful. The portions are good. The service was excellent.
