The Star Inn - Réserver une table

Went to the Star on sun 21st May about 9pm.Went outside and ordered food as it was still very mild outside. Suddenly had a full can of lager thrown at us from outside of the building and raucous drunken laughter. Could not see who it was as walls very high. Can only think they heard voices and thought it was funny to try and Injure random strangers. Went inside very shaken and told William who was on duty what had happened. He was very concerned, found us another table, served us our food and got us each a free drink, apologising profusely even though it was not his fault. He scanned the CCT TV and said it appeared it was people who were in earlier he would take it further if he found this to definitely be the case. Can't praise him enough, he was amazing. Well done. Spoons, take note you have a gem in William.

it is gone, are boxing stop on the way to or from lymee. beautiful small pub that is beautiful and pretty. never had yo waited for a table and eating has come out at a good time.

as usual good value and very tasty eating in a relaxed environment. in any case it is worth stopping when you go on like this.

I can't beat the food and drink prices. eat always well, but could do faster with clearing tables.

as weatherspoons fan, this pub is one of the best. clean, spacious, good staff, good beer and eat.
