What a fabulous evening! First great thing was Kronenbourg on draft you don't get it many places now so I was delighted! We were a group of 17 and everyone enjoyed their food. It was cooked very well and was very flavoursome. And the service was superb, everyone was friendly, helpful and very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I would happily make a return visit as I enjoyed it so much. Thanks to everyone involved. Price per person: £30–40
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I ordered the brilliant bratbeef, which was fantastic, while my two friends enjoyed pasta with a unique twist. For dessert, we tried the ginger pudding with custard, which was delightful. The charming owner showed great care in ensuring we had a great time. I also noticed their new display of heucheras outside—there were 61 in total! This village pub is definitely worth a visit.
We visited the restaurant for a family Sunday lunch, and I must say, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly, which added to the experience. As for vegetarian options, my brother tried the nut roast and mentioned it was excellent. The price per person ranged from £20 to £30. Overall, I rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
Excellent tuna steak; very pleasant staff. Very quiet! My friend had the ploughman's with Stilton and enjoyed it.
