Food, ales, staff and location are all great. This is a favourite calling point for us on our way through to the Lakes or even just as a destination in itself. If I could afford one of the houses nearby so that this could be my local, I'd be so happy! The outdoor area for the kids is good, and dogs are welcome in the bar area away from the restaurant bit. Only downside? Price of food, but I am a tight wad.
great small place for a beautiful meal with family. we are here a few times and their beer garden is really good with crazy golf, alpacas on the fields and a really good children's playground. there is a large children's playground, with slides swinging and climbing frames. the menu is diverse and eating is really good with a good selection of drinks to very cheap trips. we will return.
We had a party of 12 on mothers day and it was fab! Lovely staff. Everyone cleared their plates. I had a very lean but good helping of Lamb Henry and the roasts, Lasagne and kids meals looked good. Puddings also went down well and then we sat in the sun in the beer garden for a couple of hours while the kids played on the big outdoor play area. Lovely day!!
What a lovely pub in a beautiful setting! Three of us went for lunch today, Sunday 25th, and we had beautifully presented scrumptious food. The staff are very friendly and the service was excellent. Definitely will visit again. Most highly recommended Réservez une table maintenant
Easter Sunday roast.....perfect!!! Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Even allowed to bring our friends dog in too . We will be back xxxx
had a night to stop over which we found the personal friendly, and eating and drinking was excellent. great park for the children. we're coming back. highly recommended.
