Both the breakfast and lunch menus are fantastic. To call this place a "hole in the wall" would be an understatement, and saying their portion sizes are generous doesn't do justice to the heaping servings! The pancakes are as big as your head, and the burgers are so indulgent that you'll question whether it’s even possible to take that first glorious bite of pure meat heaven. Trust me when I say you’ll need some napkins—it can get messy, but it’s definitely worth it! Come with a hearty appetite, because you won't leave hungry!
The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. The restrooms were tidy as well. We typically don't have high hopes for hashbrowns when we go out for breakfast, as we're quite particular about them. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we loved the hashbrowns! The eggs Benedict, French toast, bacon, and fruit were all fantastic too. Our server was very helpful in discussing the menu options with my daughter, who has a food allergy. We can't wait for our next visit!
Today was my first visit to The Stilly Diner, and I was greeted by a line that stretched out the door. It felt a bit like waiting for a flight, but I can honestly say the wait was entirely worth it. I enjoyed the best breakfast I've ever had. The waitress was quick, courteous, and attentive, even though the diner was bustling with customers. I was really impressed, and I will definitely make an effort to return.
This is an authentic American diner with excellent service, delicious food, and a charming small-town atmosphere. I visit occasionally and always ask myself why I don’t go more often. The service is outstanding; the entire staff works together to ensure your happiness. I truly love this place.
