My niece wanted to book a surprise meal for my sister her mum, so she looked at the menus of pubs in a 10 mile radius of where they were staying. She chose the stiperstones as the menu catered for her Lactose gluten intolerance and being vegan it restricted most down considerably but not Stiperstones. My partner and I travelled from north Wales to meet family for Easter lunch . The staff were amazing , so welcoming and friendly. It was busy because it was Easter Sunday so food took a little while to arrive but this was no problem as gave us chance for a good catch up . My mum had turkey Sunday lunch and we had the gammon which was cooked to perfection and the chunky chips were delicious . Fluffy inside and the nicest chips I’ve tasted in a long time The desserts were fab . Tried to have the lamb shank, but they'd run out, so tried the chicken leek pudding, but that had also run out! Settled on the trio of sausages with mash which was very tasty. Cider choice was a fizzy one or a still rhubarb one. Two cask beers on. They are currently having building works done, so the toilets are a temporary block out in the car park (but immaculately clean).
Made very welcome when we went in for a drink on Friday night with the dog. Place was heaving. Enjoyed it so much we went back for a meal on the Saturday night. Simple pub food well presented with lots of choice. The pub plays to its strengths. The locals are welcoming, giving helpful tips as to where to go and see. If you are staying nearby it is well worth a visit

We called in for lunch and had a lovely experience. The bar staff were great and very attentive to all customers (not just us), the food was spot on and the waitress very accommodating. Not our first time and won’t be our last! Well done Stiperstones Inn
Cosy pub, great value meals and friendly staff. The pub was very busy , but they fitted us in as long as we ordered quickly before the rush, and I have to that we were pleased that we did. Recommended after a walk in the shropshire hills.
Had another great lunch here. Found this lovely place last year on holiday. I had bangers and mash and my husband had fish and chips both were very good and very good value for money. Lovely staff.
The food here is so good. The service is amazing. I'm here on holiday from Cornwall. But I seriously wish this was my local. Whoever owns this pub must be so proud of all their staff

Stayed here in our Motorhome and had a great meal and proper ale. All super value. Smaller portions for those who prefer and suited me fine. Delicious fish and chips.
You know those pubs where the locals go quiet when you walk in? This isn't one of them. Friendly bunch of locals, good beer (Butty Bach) and excellent food.
