I chose the Falafel star and the Butternuss Quarry. my partner had prawn cocktail. his cloves came translucent and frozen. the presentation was also not the best, it was somehow thrown on a plate with Mayo-Blobbed on the plate. We found this place just off the M5 after coming back from a overnight break, decided to pick due to other good reviews. We were definitely not disappointed, at all. On our arrival the pub was busy, but they were still able to accommodate us. For starters we chose the following; Duo of Pate, which was tasty plenty of Pate too. The other was the Soup of the Day, this being mixed veg, very satisfying indeed. Finally for Main Course, we chose the following; Hunter’s Chicken Schnitzel, perfectly cooked just the right portion size. very nice Valentines menu / meal in valentines at night eating and service were exceptional. the staff was very friendly. also compliments to the chef who gets our steak spot. they made our evening very special. Thank you. the room was not furnished it would have been nice to have had a rose on the tables their chalkboards have brought us to laugh
Booked online said they didn't get the booking although I showed them confirmation. Made it out like it was my problem their systems weren't linked properly. Service was slow. Dessert came 20 mins after my hot drink which was supposed to be together. Came out the brownie was surrounded by a pool of ice-cream not good.

Was just passing on a Sunday afternoon, weren't any availability inside but luckily the weather wasn't too bad so we were able to have a table outside. All ordered online via the app so I can't really comment on the service. Food was beautifully presented. Would like to return to try other items on the menu.
Does what it says on the tin so to speak; pub grub, very satisfactory (but then I only ever have fish chips! service is always good and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Its my local and I'm really glad to have it so near.
as always nice fresh warm eating served by but fantastic staff led by the beautiful beki, which goes out of their way to make them feel like home well made youngs x
