We went on a day trip to Mission, was hungry, and walked almost the length of the main street when we spotted the sign. It was more than a coffee house, or a desert place, it was a lunch place - maybe even other meals, but lunch was my need that day. The menu was limited and healthy, though I couldn`t chose because of my dietary restrictions. No problem, the young woman attending to us called over the proprietress who proposed accommodations to meet my needs. We agreed on a turkey on brie sandwich and tomato based soup. What a delight. The eating area was in a garden, with a water fall that invites one to linger and enjoy. What a treasure in Mission.

I have been here many times, food is ok and garden ambiance is nice aside from a giant spider on the wall beside my table on my last visit. The problem is that the owners do NOT like children or anyone who's not an adult. I was walking into the garden with my well behaved 13 yr old granddaughter (not a child) and I was chased down and told I couldn't go there to eat because there are no children allowed. They have even posted a sign outlying that only adults are allowed in the garden. This is sheer discrimination and a human rights issue which I intend to pursue and set these these owners straight.

Went to Sweet Spot with my family for lunch. An apt name for this little restaurant because it was a sweet surprise! The sandwich was fresh and delicious. But, the tomato soup was amazing.....The best I've ever had! I wouldn't have thought that something as simple as tomato soup could be so tasty! Now I know different! The staff was friendly and helpful. My family enjoyed their lunch choices as well. We'll go back in a heartbeat.

Our visit to this small establishment was marred by the rude attitude of the owner who obviously does not want business. We asked for a coffee refill with our breakfast and were told we would have to p[ay for a refill. Unheard of in todays restaurant biz. Food was quite good but atmosphere was very uncomfortable making a return visit unlikely.

I went there and was kicked out by a barista because I had my 14 year old son with me. This place also has lots of odd rules such as no knitting, no board games and no business meetings. Such a useless place, hope they tear it down. If i could give no stars I would.

Sweet Spot Cafe makes the best homemade soups I have ever tasted. Their homemade bread with the individually made sandwiches are to die for. Never had a meal that I was not completely satisfied with. The ambience on the patio just completes the meal.

The woman there was absolutely lovely and she accomodated me by finding a flavour from a previous "season". One of the best beverages I've ever had.

I love spending time in the garden when the weather is warm. They make great espresso, but I find most of the other items too sweet.

Nice place, bake their own pastries, make their own meats, great variety in such a small place, will definitely be back.
