Hubby and I passing through between the Yorkshire Dales and London. Saw this place on Tripadviser. A bit out of the way, but just great. Our cook was so friendly and gave us a special treat of homemade scones to take with us. Hubbie had “large” breakfast and they weren’t kidding. I had Eggs Benedict (including a double yolk egg that the cook got a kick out of) that was very good as well. Thanks!!
Would highly recommend this Cafe! The food is extremely delicious and you can tell the owner takes real pride in what she does. It has a vast selection of proper homemade food, and if you’re not too full from the generous portions they serve, they do a great assortment of dessert! All in all staff were fantastic, the food was outstanding, will be going back!
This cafe is the friendliest we have visited in the past year. We have been traveling all over the North of England and have visited many cafes. The food was hot and made with high-quality ingredients. The two lovely waitresses who served us were entertained by our jokes and attempts to speak with a local accent. It was a great experience, indeed.
This café is a hidden gem! It has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It is the best in the area. Today we enjoyed a delicious home-cooked Christmas lunch with all the traditional sides. Janet and her team are amazing and always ensure everything is just right. I wish I could give them more stars! Réservez une table maintenant
