I booked this as there were 12 of us and everywhere else was full, the reviews were good and it was close to where we were staying! From the outside it looks a bit dubious but pleasantly surprised inside. The carvery was in their function room, plenty of space, relaxed and no music which was a plus for me. Great selection of meat and big portions, the turkey was moist and succulent! Good variety of veg, roast potatoes, mash potatoes, stuffing yorkies all very tasty. The price was great and every one of the party said it was one of the best carverys they've had! Very enjoyable!
Two of us for Sunday lunch.carvery with help yourself to several choice of vegetables, roast and mash potatoes.yorkshire puddings.gorgous cauliflower cheese.there were several choices of meats including beef,turkey, and pork with beautiful proper crackling with stuffing.everything so hot and plenty of meat served too. Desserts a available for a small extra cost.staff are lovely and helpful people.good for families as they cover all generations . lovely Sunday lunch .
Spent the night with friends at the new years eve party. Ages from 18 to 80 and everyone interacting with each other. Amazing atmosphere. Both the live music and DJ were brilliant with the most amazing buffet laid on. Highly recommend this place as I am there most Saturday evenings. Well done Team Tavern you all worked so hard to give everyone a great evening.
A fantastic pub, the staff are excellent, as you walk in the door. They are making your drinks for you. Fantastic music every Saturday night great bands the people are so friendly and helpful too. If you want a good night out. This is the place to go. Any time off the week. I would recommend this place strongly if anyone asked Réservez une table maintenant
I cannot fault this place whether you are having the carvery or bar food you will not be disappointed, The food is amazing ,The staff are superb, I can highly recommend this place , Its got to be the best place in town for a carvery and its excellent and value for money .Definitely will be going back ,
We hired the Tavern for my son's wedding in October 2023 and were extremely happy with the effort they made. Tristan the manager was amazing providing us with a great buffet for the evening. The staff were all friendly and well organised. I Would highly recommend the Tavern for any Occasion. Thank you
