what a nice greeting we have when we arrived. it was explained to us that the hotel had recently changed the hands and they are in the process of updating the rooms. we were in a family room as they had everything left, have views over the ironbridge and along the high street. the bed was really comfortable, the room was clean and has a smart TV along with tea and coffee accessories. it must be updated, but this will happen in time together with the rest of the hotel. it certainly has not distracted from our stay. the breakfast is worth the money, the breakfast room is beautiful, bright and clean. all staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the opposite. we would definitely stay here aga...

We (middle aged couple with middle aged Border Terrier) have stayed here on 2 seperate occasions for several days on each occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed both holidays. Comfy and informal. The Tontine is genuinely dog friendly keeping the dog's food in fridge etc Is the Tontine a 5* luxury hotel? Of course not! It is still a proper pub and perfect 3* accommodation, wonderfully situated and with friendly staff. TV kettle tea/coffee sachets bathroom clean and adequate clean towels beds not as classy as Premier Inn etc but comfortable Food at Tontine usual fayre but plenty of places to eat in area. However Sunday lunch fine! We will certainly return.

if they are looking for a hotel built in 1784 with a view of the iconic ironbridge (and not part of a large chain), then this is for them. the rooms are clean and well equipped. the personal is friendly and the new owner could not do enough to ensure that our stay was pleasant. Eat is well cooked and properly portioned. with regard to parking there are limited free parking spaces, but many easily accessible public parking spaces. Finally, the tontine offers very good value for money. we hope to come back.

beautiful old pub, popped in for a beer and some food unfortunately no food available, but barmaid was very polite and helpful not much choice with beer, but barmaid suggested I tried the ale as it was popular was not disappointed! everything in everything a nice place to stop and have a pint Réservez une table maintenant

nice eating and excellent service. my sister has an erdnus allergy and the personal was very courteous and ensured that everything was clean and safe so that she could eat without worrying. good selection of food and everything comes with fresh homemade salad and delicious dressing.

I visited again and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent. I tried the fisherman's breakfast, which was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with top-notch scrambled eggs. The service was first-rate. Thank you very much!

beautiful place to breakfast in the heart of the city. good choice, with a lot of quality. table service with many rooms outside and inside. fisherman's breakfast is a good choice with squid or salmon fish cake.

I stopped by for a quick cup of tea and ended up buying a teapot and some loose leaf tea! The staff was very friendly, the tea was excellent, and the teapot pours without any spills. Réservez une table maintenant

it did not eat there, but arrived for a drink. very kind masters, they said hi, when we left, when we left, it makes a difference.

first visit as our usual closed (again) definitiw our new favorite place in ironbridge eating was nice coffee delicious
