Accessing the tea room is easy from the main road, but it's worth the few extra steps. The place has a charming tea room atmosphere, complete with trendy mismatched vintage crockery and retro-inspired decor—it's a hidden gem that we will definitely visit again. While the selection may be somewhat smaller than at other establishments, they do offer gluten-free and vegan options, and the friendly, family-run vibe, along with the quality of the food, more than compensates for it. We only had coffee and cake, and we were not disappointed. We will definitely return to the tea room during our next visit to Perranporth, and I look forward to trying out their other cakes!
A quaint little café in the centre of town, a few parking spaces outside but it's first come, first served as they fill up quick. Easy access up the gradual slope, on foot or wheelchair. Dogs are welcome, very clean and tidy and pleasant staff on hand to cater for your needs. You have to wait at the door to be shown to your table and then once you have chosen your drink or meal, take note of the table number and order at the counter. Great selection of fresh local produce, either hot or cold and the tables are set apart for the on going covid pandemic. Very reasonable priced and would definitely call again when in the area. Well worth a visit.
I had the pleasure of enjoying the best scones in Cornwall! With Rodda's clotted cream and delicious jams, these scones were simply divine. They were light, fluffy, and baked to perfection - undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted, and I've had plenty over the years! The service was friendly and warm, and the sandwiches were lovely and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place. There's limited parking for an hour outside, and dogs are only allowed at the outdoor tables. As of September 20, 2018, everything remains just as amazing and beautifully warm!
Had take away tea and cake today. The guy working there was very nice indeed. This wasn't Steve the owner, who is a great builder (apparently) and also it seems moonlights as a pretty damn good baker. Very bohemian! We really enjoyed eating the cake this evening. We didn't meet you today Steve but would still like to thank you for your delicious efforts. Your mate from Bedworth is also doing a cracking job so you're in safe hands. Thanks,

We thoroughly enjoyed the high tea we had today, the sandwiches were excellent with a good choice of fillings. The homemade cakes were delicious, good selection and scones melted in your mouth. Extremely good value and generous portions, we couldn't eat it all! The staff were very helpful and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend The Tea Room.
I am gluten-free and it was a real tasty bite in the situation to have something different than a chocolate brownie that all offer the most caffes / coffee houses! although I had no, they also offer gluten-free sandwiches. was also immaculately clean
It was a lovely afternoon with friendly staff. It would be even better if they offered mixed sandwiches rather than just single fillings. However, the pastries and cakes were delicious and homemade. I would definitely recommend a visit!
