The Tea Shop Around The Corner

I urge customers to still go and try the cafe regardless! It is a beautiful corner in northcamp that does brighten up your day. However unfortunately I believe today was just a series of unfortunate events at a very busy cafe. Very polite staff sadly spilt my milk over the floor but happily brought another out. The meal was missing an egg on both dishes as well as being rather small portion sizes and burnt toast for the near £26.90 spent on them was not worth it : . In terms of the egg I believe this to be either miss direction on the menu or forgetting to put it on. I was welcomed on a busy Friday afternoon by a very friendly member of staff. Despite bringing a buggy in, everyone accommodated me and I shared a table with another family. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The service was great. There was a fantastic selection of cakes and I was given a huge slice which was very generous. I would love to see some more gluten free cake choices next time so I can bring members of my family back! But I'll definitely be returning to this little gem soon.

My granddaughter and I went for a very special birthday afternoon tea ,they accommodated my walker ,we were treated like royalty, the food was superb ,had to bring loads away , the staff were polite ,helpful ,the place was really busy but they made us feel we were the only ones there my first visit Def not my last

Love their food and cakes! I went along as it was 50% government scheme except l wasnt entitled as l had a gift voucher, a little dissappointed but i didnt let it spoil my time out from my little children. Sitting outside in the sun with tasty food supporting a local business felt good. Réservez une table maintenant

Very olde worlde experience like stepping back in time. Offers a variety of homemade cakes. Takeaway service also available. Very welcoming atmosphere and good food with an excellent menu.
