I have visited this cafe on many occasions over the past couple of years with my grandma. It has been great to have such a nice cafe in Failsworth. We love it for a local lunch spot the food is simple but lovely. It is mainly an afternoon tea style selection (sandwiches, crumpets, cakes) but some of the food also is Greek/Turkish influenced (I particularly like the meze or the fried halloumi). The staff are always very lovely and welcoming; they can't do enough for you. The decor inside is quaint and cosy and a lot of care has been taken to make sure the tea shop looks lovely. The only downside is that it is quite small so I have seen people be turned away however, we have never struggled to...
I had heard great things about this restaurant, so I decided to try it out today with my mom. What a charming place! We felt very welcome as soon as we walked in. The cozy interior made us feel right at home. The food was all freshly prepared and delicious. My mom loved the homemade trifle, which brought her back to her childhood. To top off our visit, she was able to chat with a woman who remembered the shop from when she was a child. The woman even brought out a photograph and a book filled with memories from others. It was such a lovely gesture and we will definitely be returning again.
I’ve been to the tea shop on the corner twice now and enjoyed it very much . The atmosphere is really welcoming , the staff are lovely and friendly and the tea shop itself is very pretty and homely . The food was very nice especially the cake . There are books to read and lots of things to look at while you sit . The lady who served me even suggested I borrow the book I had stuck my nose in , which I did I would advise reserving a table as it’s quite small and can get busy . Look forward to visiting again soon .
Went for afternoon tea with my daughter and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches were so fresh and delicious, the scones were especially yummy as were the little cakes and chocolate strawberries. The staff and owners were all very warm and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. When I rang to book they asked if there was any allergies and anything we didn’t like, they then changed the filing to suit. We will definitely go back an absolute gem of a place and very reasonably priced.

First visit to the tea shop last weekend. Had breakfast. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff were nice and friendly. They were welcoming and we didn’t feel rushed at all. There was a good choice of breakfast items. I particularly liked to vintage retro feel to the cafe. I will definitely visit again.
I have frequented this lovely tea room several times, and the sandwiches and cakes are fantastic. The owners are very friendly, and I adore the vintage China cups and saucers - it feels like a step back in time. I absolutely love it. It's wonderful to have a place like this in Failsworth.
Went for lunch with a friend, food was lovely, smoked salmon delicious . Lemon drizzle to finish was equally yummy. We witnessed the afternoon tea and will be back to sample it without doubt. Great value too, booking essential to avoid disappointment as it is obviously a well loved place
Absoloutley love this place. I have been a few times now and never been disappointed. The staff are so lovely and friendly and can’t do enough for you. Spotlessly clean and decor is quite cute. The food is fantastic and the scones are to die for!!!

It is disappointing that this charming tea shop closed during the first lockdown and never reopened. It is always sad to see small businesses like this one shut down. Hopefully, they will be able to reopen someday.
