The Terrace On The Hill

I had a delicious orange and passion fruit tart with a savory parsnip soup as my starter at this restaurant. We initially went without a reservation and were told there were no available tables until a certain time. We eventually returned and were slightly confused by the setup, as it looked like a pie and coffee shop at first glance, but we needed to book a table. It seemed like the server wasn't too thrilled that we only wanted soup, cake, and coffee. However, the menu had a great variety of dishes, and if we hadn't already had breakfast, we would have ordered the risottos or the afternoon tea. The service was quick and the food was delicious.

We had a fantastic High Tea for four people. The service, value, and quality were excellent. We even had leftovers to take home in a doggy box. I highly recommend this place. Service: Dine-in Meal Type: Other Price per person: £10-20
