we decided to try the Valentine menu after we saw it before. it was not a great choice, which is a good thing, as it meant that the items were freshly prepared and cooked before spot. the sharing fishing was impressive, especially the smoked makrelenbhaji and the inkfish. everything was well presented and the main course of the pig bell was very good. beautiful choice of desserts that were well received. the personal was all pleasant and attentive and the room looked good, with tables well spaced. the beer was in perfect condition as usual. we are looking forward to our next visit!

Luckily this is our village pub. beautiful decoration, amazing gin menu and the meal we had was fabulous. all staff are cordial and welcoming and all extras make this really something special. I wish we could come more often.
