I wasn’t told what wasn’t available on the menu so was disappointed that my choice wasn’t available. The food I was provided with was ok not amazing. Soggy veg. But strangest of all, hence my 1 star for ‘Atmosphere’, the lights were going on and off literally every minute. Bit worrying if they were tripping the fuse switch. Health Safety. Restaurant looked tired too.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. Despite our excitement about making a reservation and finally trying it out after hearing great things, the service was terribly disappointing and unexpectedly poor.
It was always a fabulous venue with great food and welcoming atmosphere. It will be sorely missed after becoming a recent victim of the cost of living crisis and frightening utility bills.
Lovely atmosphere after an extremely disappointing meal 300 metres up the road at the Castle, this local made up for the rest of the evening. Réservez une table maintenant
I recently had pie with chips and peas at this restaurant, and I have to say it was the best I have ever had. I will definitely be returning.
We love it here. Everyone is so friendly, dogs are welcome, Drinks are always served 'properly '. Lynn is exceptional
