Buyers beware we had a family of 9, went there on our last day of a week vacation .. we had two tables full .. the service was slow and it wasn 't even busy, the waitress got our order wrong and tried to deliver us nachos that we never ordered .. 45 mins later our food came .. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST SERVICE!!! So, my husband and I stopped at 11:05am and breakfast is served til 11am, but, we asked if we could still have it. The owner, John, said , Of course, no problem! . Between us, we ordered pancakes that came with 4 piggy sausages one could have had patties, also! , an egg, which was cooked over medium was just right! , and 2 large pancakes. I have always loved my experience at the landing. I was reading some of the reviews and the first thing that comes to my mind about the wait time is did they keep in mind that the kitchen Is very small and it's a full menu restaurant. So even if it's not busy what did the people before you order? Because if it's steaks and a full order then it will take some time to get to the next order. Its a sit down restaurant not a fast food joint. Second the prime rib is amazing and if it wasn't.. why are other restaurants having the Landing prepare it for their restaurant? 3rd if I have fully read the menu and ordered something and it came out the EXACT same way the menu described and I didn't like it...

Terrible food, awful service, and exorbitantly priced for what tasted like pre-packaged frozen meals. Even though there were only two tables occupied, we faced a long wait for our food, which arrived cold. I was charged $12 for a tiny chicken Caesar wrap and $8 for a small bowl of canned chili that the menu claimed was homemade. Our waitress appeared more interested in sitting down and chatting with the bartender than in serving us. We ended up having to go to the bar multiple times to get our own drinks, condiments, and silverware. It seems like they really take advantage of tourists here.
Food poisoning. After waiting in line at the store and hearing SEVERAL other people also claim to have gotten sick after eating at the landing it's a no go for the rest of summer! We placed a to go order to give it one more shot before hearing these claims) and the biscuits and gravy smelled soooo sour that we threw everything straight in the trash! Order at your own risk because they do not care they are making people sick
I think the waitress was new, so she struggled with serving our group. The food was mediocre, the portions were not great. We stopped for lunch and ended up there for nearly 2 hours after waiting for our food to arrive. The food was pricey especially considering the quality and service. Their fish tasted like it'd come from a box in the freezer, their salads were small, overall not impressive.
I had been there before and had a good experience, but my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and both had a sour smell and taste. Unfortunately, both my boyfriend and I got sick afterwards.

Other than the view on the deck was a terrible experience. After forgetting our order and serving others that arrived (up to an hour after us) their meals we got ours another 30-45 min later. Food was cold and nasty!
