Very disappointed in my visit tonight. After reading reviews I was looking forward to a nice meal while travelling on business. I loved the building but that was about it. The ribeye was tough and had a very odd flavor profile that made me question if the meat was spoiled. The texture of the steak was almost as if it had been microwaved. No sear at all the steak was curled. Probably the worst restaurant steak I have eaten. Also ordered the Maryland clam chowder. The soup was very bland had no seasoning at all.Not impressed at all most likely will not return. I can say with absolute certainty that they should take steak off their menu. That steer died in vain.

Great from start to finish! Very cool aesthetic that features some original wood work from the original time era. The “Don’t Call Me Shirley” was a refreshing spin on a nostalgic Shirley Temple non alcoholic beverage. The Spinach Salad was very fresh. The addition of golden delicious apples to the salad was a nice addition and surprise! The restaurant is attached to The Hotel Gunter which dates back to the late 1800s. We hope to come back and visit both places next time we are in Frostburg MD.

Stopped for lunch while driving through the area. Paid parking on the street not sure if there is free parking for the restaurant anywhere. Food was very good we tried sandwiches, wraps, fish and chips, salad, homemade chips. Service was on the slow side.

Nice atmosphere. The wines were good. My favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon. The stuffed flounder was good. The shrimp and corn chowder very flavorful.
