The location of this restaurant is perfect for a visit to Saltburn, as it is situated on the main promenade, allowing you to enjoy a snack while walking along the beach. The variety of pasties and pastries on display was nicely presented. Unfortunately, there is no indoor seating available. However, the vegan options are clearly marked and the staff are knowledgeable about what is suitable for vegans. One downside was the lack of dairy-free milk during my visit, prompting me to go next door to Surfs-up for vegan options. This beachfront kiosk is operated by friendly individuals who cater to vegans. They offer a variety of hot vegetarian and vegan pastries as well as large vegan sausage rolls. It was a pleasant surprise to discover this spot. Unfortunately, during our visit in October 2021, they did not have any (vegetarian) chips available.

However, the waitress told me that the cafe next door, Surfs Up, offered dairy-free milk alternatives. I decided to stop by and get a latte there. Unfortunately, they were out of oat milk when I visited, but the soya latte I got was still delicious.

Only place in Saltburn that cooks chips in veg oil (not beef dripping, watch out!! delicious pasty’s vegan ice cream, helpful knowledgeable staff. Sit on the beach and munch

Thai vegetable vegan pasty and also vegan sausage rolls available from this takeaway by the sea. Both items are a good size and very tasty. Friendly staff too.
