Went during the day out to St Michaels mount with the dog. Cod was perfectly cooked and batter was great. Chips were fresh, fluffy and also not dry, proper fish shop chips. The staff were friendly and chatty. A great place to buy well priced food to go and sit on the beach to eat. Absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this place! The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is wonderful! Vegetarian options include veggie sausage and a burger. I ordered takeout for dinner, and it was a great experience. Price per person is around £1–10. I give the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere also a 5. Don’t miss the large chips and cod – they’re highly recommended!
Average is perfect way to describe. Not perfect and not bad, always liked fish and chips but this one put me off from it for a while. It tastes grease while is actualy crunchy, leaves that oil aftertaste in your mouth. Chips are funny too. Tastes bit like mashed potato fried sticks. Portion sizes good. The fish was hot,fresh moist and had taste the chips where hot and fluffy inside. It has been one of the best fish and chips I've had in a long while so thank you and I would recommend it.
