The Unthank Arms

Been going there for years now, on and off. Met my wife there and had my birthday party in the room upstairs. Always like the place. Standard has been consistently very good. On the odd occasion when we have had cause to complain about something the staff have apologised, sorted it out and discounted the bill. Owner must be doing something right as they've taken over the mulberry arms (renamed as william florence) now as well whilst many places are going to the wall.

ordered catch of the day "haddock.What came was not what I ordered".The chef? did not have the decency to come and tell me the haddock was finished and tried to palm me off with a inferior type of fish.Wont go there again

Had a works meal here and loved it. Service just right.didnt rush us but also didn't leave it too long between courses. Food was really nice and portions good.

Went to the pub for the first time, staff were extremely rude to me and my coworkers, definitely will not be going back
