The Urban Grill - Réservation de table

The first warning sign we should have noticed was the drink menu, which had no prices listed for any of the beverages. Even more concerning, there wasn't even a beer selection included on the menu. It felt like a clear indication they could change prices at will. We felt completely taken advantage of, and when we expressed our concerns to the "manager," they had no authority to resolve the issue. They just blamed the owners (whoever they are) and claimed that "things have gotten so expensive." While that might be true, no one else in the Des Moines area charges that much for a basic beer. We definitely won’t be returning.

One of my favorite restaurants in the DSM area. We have so many to choose from and I keep choosing this one. We usually get onion rings, which are amazing. Salads, sandwiches, and chicken dishes are all great. They used to have shrimp tacos and they were the absolute best I have ever had. I hope they bring them back- I think fish (tilapia) tacos are on the menu right now, which I am sure would be great too. Go enjoy a great meal here. Excellent service and a cozy atmosphere!

The only reason it wasn’t a one star review is because the food was still hot by the time I got home but the food wasn’t very good I had to season most of the food myself because it was all under seasoned and the ribeye I ordered was full of fat the ranch for the side salad wasn’t very ranch flavored the Mac and cheese wasn’t very cheesy even though it is just noodles and cheese and the chicken Alfredo wasn’t very good kind of bland and the ribs aren’t very good either

Enjoyed lunch here with some friends. Have also had supper here in the past. Walking in it is very dark and takes a minute for your eyes to accommodate to the dim lit setting. There are many different options to choose from ranging from salads, burgers, sandwiches, pastas and entrees, including options for smaller, lunch size portions. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and service was top-notch. Plenty of parking available as well. Réservez une table maintenant

Blackened seafood quesadilla and Angus burger were excellent. Great iced tea. Desserts are yummy and huge. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere. Easy for my disabled spouse to access the building. We try and go in off hours so we can sit near the entrance.

Henry is a 5 star waiter. Ask for him and you will get excellent service . Food we ordered was also great. As I understand it, this is a Des Moines restraunt, not a chain. It has great ambience.

The food is consistently amazing! I highly recommend the steak sandwich—it's the best I've ever tasted! The onion strings are fantastic too!

The food is excellent, but the mixed drinks can be inconsistent, and the service varies as well.
