in the valley inn! eating is delicious, they give very generous portions, the staff was welcoming, and they have a lot of sitting and beautiful ambiente. I had two problems with this visit. our waitress was friendly and decided to bring extra bread that she said was “deviled” but it was extremely heavy and barely edible. they volunteer to bring extra bread, as we decided to share the crab-dip assizer, we had very hard and overly roasted bread pieces in the round 4. I appreciate that she was mentally enough to get extra. we hate to give back food or create a fuss, so we tried to blow it and dive into the crabs. Front of the House Wonderful and professional welcome from Ambassador Patti. Patti coordinates the Front of the House with both pride and ease. In addition, on the fly she can move a four top from one dining location to another based on Customer desire. Wait Staff Monica menu knowledge and helpful. Assists with breaking out from the box and selecting different menu items. Lunch meal wings plain with Buffalo on the side. Simply as well as delightful. Extra celery is a benefit. Blue Cheese dressing and Buffalo sauce is more than enough no requirement for “extra”. Seasonal temperatures may warrant soup the French Onion option hits the spot. Valley Inn is a great place to meet up with friends for reunions and celebrations. The back tented area is very loud, but the live music was great. Inside is also very loud, but the ambience was very warm and inviting. The calamari appetizer and raw oysters were delicious. The soups were off in flavor, and I ended up sending my cream of crab soup back. As someone who eats cream of crab soup everywhere, this was not a good thing. I was offered the option of ordering a different soup but declined...and was still charged for the soup. A more experienced server might have paid better attention to that issue. front of the office simply the best. botanical patti takes care of every diner. patti offers excellent service that affects positiw on the atlas restaurant group. waiting for them to work with monica happy; menu worth knowing; and attentive. eat wings with buffalo sauce on the side. simple menu item. very tasty sauce. only cometar choose large wings. the existing parts are smaller than peer restaurants. A very pleasant New Year's eve dinner in an historic restaurant. Nice table, good service and excellent food. This was all accomplished by the Valley Inn staff on a very busy night.
