Never eat here, owner is a complete douche, very unprofessional and acts like a 12 year old. He banned me because I canceled my reservation because I got covid and said and I quote; “we don’t want people like you here” the man doesn’t deserve to be in business, he acts like his restaurant is so amazing, I’ve ate at Michelin star restaurants that make his food taste like McDonald’sAnd this owner is a liar, he’s pathetic, I didn’t even make my reservations via phone they were made via open table and cancelled via open table and I have the email to prove that, he’s a pathetic liar, I know several owners of other restaurants on Biddle and they all say he’s a sad, petty man. Sat at the bar with 3 other people. We all ordered dinner. Mine came around 10 minutes after everyone 's else 's. I ordered steak frites cooked Medium. Mine finally cane out and it was raw. I showed the bartender and he agreed. They then sent it back to have the head chef re cook it. Not the experience you are going for when spending $40 on one meal. By this time, everyone I 'm with ad finished their meals, Mine cane back out. I boxed it up and fed it to my dogs. I guess they would give a different review of the situation lol.
The Food! I just cannot say enough about how good the food was!!! We enjoyed every bite! We were there to celebrate two birthdays. Our only complaint was that the service was super slow. While we love our family dinners together, a meal like this should not take 3.5 hours. My very pregnant daughter was in agony trying to get through this meal. Great food and drinks, slow service, high prices, especially if you want steak. Only a few of us ordered steak, but we still managed to pay almost $100 per person.
I had a fantastic party on January 20th. The food was exceptional, and it's truly a gem to have such a high-quality restaurant in Downriver. The Steak and Frites were cooked to perfection. The owners are clearly dedicated to making their business thrive. The atmosphere in the private room was lovely, and surprisingly, the fireplace on the TV added a cozy touch. Please support local businesses! Tell them Mary sent you. LOL.

First and foremost our waitress Wendy was a pleasure to have. She was so kind and freindly and very accommodating. She suggested we try the bacon wrapped scallops and they were delicious. The stuffed flounder special was a little mushy for my liking. The chicken risotto was a hit though, crispy skin and very moist on the inside. Little pricey but overall was a good experience.
We went for dinner on Saturday night, and the restaurant was bustling with activity. We were offered seats at the bar, and we gladly accepted. Although we only had drinks (you can also eat at the bar), the service and drinks were fantastic! We decided it would be a good idea to make reservations and return for dinner. It’s a great place!
We had dinner reservations here for my birthday and it was fantastic. Food was absolutely delicious (we got the filet with garlic mashed potatoes and the steakhouse pasta). The staff was super friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure.
We had an excellent experience at the restaurant. Josh and the bartender, whose name I can’t recall from Saturday night, were fantastic. We enjoyed a wonderful time with delicious food. We will definitely be returning!
