Sometimes it can be rare to agree with a marketer’s claims about being the ‘best at something’. The Viking advertises itself as ‘The best fish chips in Watford’. While I can’t confirm whether that statement is strictly true for Watford, I can confirm that the chips were the best I’ve tasted anywhere for quite a while (the only exception being my favourite chippie in Old Windsor)..... So to find somewhere that I know I can come back to again and again and enjoy their product when in the area is a bonus. If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend you come here. There is not much to say other than the food, price, delivery, and service are all 100% perfect. I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer. Any negative reviews must be false, because this is without a doubt the best fish and chip shop, especially their curry sauce.

Honest chippy. My photo for their shop has over 80k views on google. Which is interesting. Food is decent although a 70p charge to use a card is far too much. Up from 50p. It makes me sad knowing that profit is being made on card charges for such a busy shop.

This restaurant is amazing! The best kebab and fries combo you could ever ask for. The fish is also delicious.
