The Village Chippy

I have changed my loyalty from the Rainford Supper Bar to this place. The Rainford Supper Bar closes too early, but this place serves delicious fish and spam fritters, and the lady who serves is delightful. My fishcake was a bit overcooked and tough, but overall it was enjoyable. It would be even better with some mushy peas.

I will not be returning to this restaurant. The food was not enjoyable and I had to wait a long time, even though my fish was already prepared in the hot cabinet. Other customers who arrived after me were served before me. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I do not recommend it.

Absolutely amazing. When we first found this place. And had a fish dinner. It looked like slop in a tray. But what slop. Generous portions of peas and curry. Pour over home cooked chips. With a lightly battered cooked to perfection fish.

I haven't been to this restaurant in years, but I forgot how good the fish and chips are here. I went tonight and had the fish and chips along with a can of Tango. Thanks, guys! Réservez une table maintenant

Fantastic English meals and the Gyro Kebab is superb. Only negative is Chinese meals not of the same standard as English meals and kebabs.

Best chippy in Rainford and billinge!! Proper fish and chips!! Wouldn't go anywhere else! Fish always spot on!
