NEVER GOING BACK! Came here to celebrate my friends birthday alot of us attended the manager waited for us to get 3 rounds in then got his doorman to do his dirty work for him by saying we have to finished our drinks and leave cause ALL travellers are bared and being very racist towards us. I'm not a traveller and alot of my friends weren't but we all had to leave. I will be sharing my experience with the whole of wendover to avoid this racist ignorant pub at all costs ! Can't even rate it 1 star it's a joke
Disgusting, overpriced food. Waited 45 minutes for soup of the day plate was served cold and looks like baby’s poop, disgusting sweet mash . Kids menu was served after our soup, and it was the worse ever not freshly made pasta, microwaved pasta and fish fingers Was not done properly and cold inside with potato chips chips with black paper on it in a KIDS meal !!! . Not recommended at and we had to leave and we left the food...
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice bar and function room/restaurant. Only eaten here once but food was good as was the service.A very disapointing garden though, seems very neglected and has so much potential to be a beautiful place to sit out in the sun.
We went for Sunday lunch. The beef was excellent but everything else was hard going. My serving of mash was cold. I heard that the pub has recently been taken over, I think they have a fair way to go yet to get up to a decent standard.

I stopped by for a drink but ended up having a late lunch because the food was fantastic!! The presentation was excellent and it tasted delicious!! This place could become our new favorite...
Lovely place, staff are so friendly, including to our four legged friends. Good fresh food, try the scotch egg with black pudding, lush. All round nice place to eat, drink, spend some time.
Great night had, went on a karaoke night, not to sing. Warm welcome was given by locals. Sadly the spirits were expensive, had to buy bottle of red wine as it was a lot cheaper.
We went to this restaurant for the first time tonight and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the decor was beautiful. We will definitely be returning.

This was a lovely pub but at around 3 o'clock this morning a serious fire broke out and the pub will be out of action till further notice.
A must visit. Fantastic location wonderful staff, food out of this world. 5* all the way.
