I happened to pass by this restaurant while taking a stroll in town and just had to check it out! They had an incredible variety of cakes, brownies, and other desserts. I tried a jammy dodger square (I can't recall the exact name, but it was a combination of a blondie and rocky road) and it was delicious. It was a generous portion with a lovely gooey jam filling, as well as chocolate, biscuit, and marshmallow pieces. My wife ordered the Oreo cookie pie and it was also very tasty. I highly recommend trying their treats and we will definitely be returning the next time we're in town!
My 4-year-old grandson enjoys coming to this restaurant because he can play with all the toys they have while I have a peaceful cup of tea. However, I had a few issues during my visit. When it came time to pay, the server did not tell me the total amount, and I was not offered a receipt. Additionally, there were a lot of flies in the restaurant, which was off-putting. People also kept leaving the toilet door open, and the smell was not pleasant. For the price, I would expect a better experience.
Glossy trimmings (so called Artisan Clotted Cream and sliced fresh strawberries) cannot disguise or compensate for an awful main product (the scone). I don 't know how old they were, but they could have done creditable service as ice hockey pucks. Also, when the young server keenly asked how were your scones (expecting fulsome praise) she became flustered and didn 't know what to do with the answer 'freadful ' OK ... it 's dog friendly.
Made a brief visit to this cafe as we were passing through Uppermill today. We only had coffees but they had a fantastic range of cakes. A really relaxing place to sit, staff really friendly and the coffee was well worth the visit. We'd go again for sure.

We went to this restaurant for a Christmas party and it was an amazing experience! The staff was fantastic, the party was well-organized, and there were many activities available for a great price. Highly recommend this place!
Lovely little cafe. So warm and cosy inside with books, toys and colouring for kids. Excellent service and cakes were absolutely delicious. The hot chocolate was brilliant. Could've spent hours here.
First visit to this place. Had a nice selection of cakes, we had the carrot cake and the malteser crunchy slice. Both were absolutely delicious. I need more therefore we will be back.
Came here for some treats for my Grandchildren, lovely selection of cakes but very overpriced. 4 cakes cost £12 and were a bit dry. The children enjoyed but I wasn’t really fussed.

Used to enjoy visiting here before the pandemic and was really looking forward to visiting again today. To be honest don't bother, not a patch on what it used to be
Always come to Uppermill just so I can get some goodies from here! The cheesecake is to die for and everything else is perfect too!!
