The Vintage Table Tea Rooms

After booking a luxurious afternoon, the four of us were quite surprised. The table and cutlery were dirty, so the waitress quickly changed them and apologized, mentioning that it must have been overlooked since the arrival of the previous guests. The tea was already on the table for 45 minutes before we arrived, and despite the waitress assuring us that everything was in order, we waited almost an hour for our food to arrive. It was far from luxurious and more reminiscent of a children's party buffet. The sandwiches comprised of ham, tomatoes, crusty bread, chicken salad, and margarine. I booked my baby shower here on Sunday and had an amazing day. The place was decorated lovely and created such a calm and laid back atmosphere. We also had the place to ourselves due to booking for a set amount of people which o...think made it even more special. The afternoon tea itself was incredible. We stumbled upon the Vintage Table tea rooms during our exploration near Hinkley (while staying at a nearby holiday lodge). Our child had a great time with the children's afternoon tea, complete with unlimited tea! The two staff members who served us were very welcoming and polite. The sandwiches were delicious, with a variety of fillings to choose from - much better than other places I have been to, as I often don't get a choice. My daughter wanted to have an afternoon tea for her baby shower, so we decided to visit the Vintage Tea Room. The tea room had a section that was beautifully decorated for the occasion. We opted for the standard afternoon tea, which was £9.95 per person. The food was delicious and elegantly presented. The staff was attentive, helpful, and polite. My daughter had a lovely time. Not being able to go out for my birthday today we took the decision to have an Afternoon Tea delivered. What a real treat it was, Freshly made beautifully made sandwiches of varies types, large pieces of scrumptious cakes, lovely large scones and plenty of...cream, jam and coleslaw. Sausage rolls, pork pie and quiche we were spoilt ! Thoroughly delicious and highly recommended,

My daughter had her baby shower here. Nothing was too much trouble. Service was excellent and even though there was several pushchairs for them to work round and differing dietary requirements every request was met with a smile.

We turned up for a late lunch with no booking as we had noticed the sign from the street. We were very impressed with our food, drinks and service. Would definitely return if we were in the area again

Friendly, fantastic value and the best tasting cream tea thank you!!! We could choose brown or white bread and what fillings suited also.
