Used to really like it here, but probably won't be going again. First of all, despite getting confirmation of booking emails, our table was not booked. They did manage to fit us in though. I know they were busy but the service was slow, it was 15 minutes before they took our drink order. Food was served quickly after we ordered but was only average. There are worse places to eat, but there are also far better.
I recently had a meal with my family before heading to the cinema. I was keeping an eye on the time, but the service was prompt without feeling rushed. The food was delicious, and the ambiance and staff were wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the cozy log fires, although it did get a bit warm towards the end of our meal. I would definitely return and would happily recommend this restaurant to others.
enjoyed a meal with the family before she went to the cinema. had an eye on the time, but no need to worry because the service was contemporary but not too fast. eating was good and the environment and the staff were beautiful. especially loved the log fire, although it began to warm something too much at the end of our meal! would definitely go back and would like to recommend to everyone.
we had a delightful evening good eating the service organized by a beautiful dame call katie her personality was brilliant the overall service excellent. we had visitors from the south said that the best meal she had since the visit in the last five years. well done at all in the walton fox. we will soon visit them again with some other friends. The food and service were both excellent at this restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. The service from all the staff members was excellent. It was also good value for the money. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Enjoyed our meal, but over half an hour to wait for main course and a further 20 minutes for dessert to arrive.
