my place of stay here in london offers me easy access to three practical stations. these are victoria, pimlico and westminster. Nevertheless, I find myself ventilated and then try some of the local cuisine here. time out london was so generous to mark the contrary as “a gastronomic desert, ridden with soulless chains and not much more”. that is not completely untrue. Chalkboard menus, friendly staff and community wood tables immediately recommend pimlico fresh is different. I found a seat (it is packed) and contemplated the options. I have swallowed the green eggs and speck on toast option (for about £7). they go a little bit nuts on cherry tomato, but the plate is a very happy. a good smush...

Hallelujah I've finally found a decent French toast in London! Stumbled on this place when killing time around Victoria station. Absolutely worth the 5min walk to escape the generic chain cafes in the station itself. Enjoyed a beautiful pulpy orange juice with the decadent French toast. Loving the generous amount of sauce and the hit of cinnamon. Worth the wait to order off the menu rather than the pre made window options. If it wasn't vetoed by a sign on the wall, would be a great place to sit working away on a laptop for a few hours, slowly getting through the many menu options. Great big tables to spread out at and friendly staff. Need to get back to try the chilli avo toast with vegemite
ratio decidendi: there are not many things that I have eaten in london, which have blown off my socks, but the hearty French toast was not just one of them – it was the first. the addition of molten cheese to a soft base with exactly the correct amount of chewing is pure genie. have not really tried much on the menu – after the attempt of the sweet French toast and the “destroyed” (Alas comparison is the dead of the happiness they say) I have never dared to roll the cubes again.
Probably the healthiest spot you'll find in the general area. I wouldn't come here specifically as its not fully healthy and doesn't have anything that stands out, but they do have healthy options and a hearty feel. Their almond milk matcha latte is decent (so they do have dairy alternatives), they have juices and smoothie, nice menu to order from and decent buffet. Communal table and one or two smaller ones to the side so it's cosy and casual, very much a quick stop. Réservez une table maintenant
I was looking for a place where we could get a combination of vegan and not vegan brunch. this place fits perfectly to the bill. local caffe that does not take reservations. I got a latte with milk and sourdough toast served with smashed avocado, spinat, house made pesto, and mixed mushrooms. both were amazing. service was great to updated by previous review on 2020-10-18
It doesn’t matter how trendy brunching is becoming in London, there still aren’t enough happy friendly cafes in London – there are those places that require a queue around the block (no thanks) or those that require you to book a few years in advance, but still there lacks the neighbourhood friendly cafe that serves up stonkingly good food and coffee.
One of my favourite local breakfast spots! Great coffee and plenty of great options. I've really been meaning to try the other great dishes on the menu, but I really can't tear myself away from the savoury french toast! Really, my only gripe is that they don't have a toilet for customers.
really good eating and a nice warm, friendly pub atmosphere. good service and a nice selection menu to choose from. better than the ordinary pub grub, but in the same cuddly atmosphere. reasonably expensive. Réservez une table maintenant
