Unfortunately, lunch with my friends on 25 Oct at the Water Tower , the staff refused to honor this benefit, even though I mentioned that he had an AA member discount code. He have used this discount in other areas in the past, and it was also indicated as usable in the AA app for this restaurant. Nevertheless, we were denied the discount, and we had to pay the full amount. This left us extremely disappointed. I stopped by for lunch with a friend and found the food and drink to be an excellent value. The new manager was extremely helpful and friendly, even offering to lend me his reading glasses when he noticed I was having trouble reading the menu. Our food arrived within 20 minutes, and we couldn’t find anything to complain about. Price per person: £10–20. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5.
I was hesitant to visit the Water Tower due to its numerous negative reviews over the years, but I'm so glad I decided to give it a chance. The menu is fantastic! I tried the delicious tacos, and they were excellent. The place itself is clean, and the staff is attentive. I will definitely be returning! Great job to the team for turning this pub into a thriving spot again.
I visited this pub for a meal, and although it doesn't offer modern or trendy cuisine, the food is quite decent. It’s well-prepared, delicious, and very affordable. The interior is clean, tidy, and spacious, and there's also a garden outside. It's conveniently located at the end of the number 17 bus route, which even features a topless bus that advertises events.

had entered a 40 % discount on main meal voucher by e-mail, so with a friend for lunch. not very busy. the personal was nice that my friend offered to take over a chap. the food was very good. great value for money, especially with the money-off voucher. I had the mixed grill £10.99 40%. my friend discovered the senior menu, again very good value for money.
What a find! This place is awesome. Great menu, with a good selection or food. We all had different dishes and they were all lovely. Reasonable price as well. Lovely staff too, friendly and helpful.
