I was here with a group of colleagues for a diner get together (15-ish people). And we basically got no service. We had to wait very long until somebody came to the table, half of the group went individually to the bar to get their drinks... Furthermore, the service that we got was rude and not appropriate. We had to wait a long time for someone to come to our table, and half of the group had to go individually to the bar to get their drinks. The service we did receive was rude and unprofessional. The specials are okay for the price however the service is horrible. Staff ignore you and serve others without checking who's next in line. They have no manners and don't even say 'thank you'. They also just pass you your food without saying a word.
We visited in a group of 12 and all of us enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. Burgers and sliders were great. The beef skewers are quite special. Friendly service and not a long wait for our meals. I will go back.

Excellent lunch today at the newly reopened Waterford Tavern (ex Hippo Creek) Rae had the spicy chicken wings and sweet potato chips.
This was previously Hippo Creek buy is now Waterford TavernThe entrance is confusing to say the least.
