Surprised!. I used to live in Carleton Place, and I remember the old Leather Works. It was a fun place for the locals, however it was run down moldy and basically falling into the river!<br/ They place underwent an ownership change, and they put lots of money into a huge renovation of the place.<br/ <br/ The wife and I went with another couple, and we were all pleased! The food was great, the service was very fast and prompt. You cannot beat the view of the river and great Architecture, and they have a great beer list!<br/ <br/ The wife and I liked it so much that we went back again! This is a lovely little place if you visit Carleton Place.<br/ <br/ Did I mention they have a very good line...
Amazing!!. This meal was incredible. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I want to go back and order it again. My wife ordered the poutine and we chared wings and it was all amazing and definetly worth the price. I highly reccomend this restaurant for a nice dinner date. Its beautidul inside and a very friendly atmosphere. <br/ <br/ I deffinetly will be coming back for my dinner the next time im in carleton place. The only thing I dont like about this place is that its too far from my house!
Great meal with my wife. Decided to give The Waterfront a try and was thoroughly pleased. The service was great and the owners presence and desire for feedback gave me confidence in their desire to succeed. The reno is makes it look much rejuvenated and welcoming.<br/ <br/ I had the mushroom app and the mushroom fettucine and loved every bite. Tasty and interesting food, definitely not your run of the mill flavours. <br/ <br/ Will be back to try everything else with time.
Enjoyed first experience eating there. My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed the food and the patio experience. I had the lonely vegetarian sandwich which I absolutely loved . My husband wolfed down his fish sandwich and fries, my daughter really enjoyed her fish and chips ate nearly all of it! We will be going and enjoying again. Our server was great! I really like this place. My family and I have eaten there several times since the reno, and have enjoyed every dish we 've tried. Quality food, made with fresh, tasty ingredients, cooked and presented perfectly. It 's definitely a step up from your typical 'pub grub '. The fish and chips is one of the best I 've had, and the pulled pork is delicious.
Extremely disappointed. Open jam hostrude and condescending. Never going back there ever. Lost alot of amazing musicians. Do not recommend. As for food wasn’t there long enough to say. Can’t wait to get the hell out of there. Price per person: $100+ Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
