I couldn't wait for the plans to be approved. I was the first person at Excelsior to reserve an apartment and was eagerly anticipating the building's completion. When I finally moved in, my mood was ecstatic. It felt like a luxurious reward for everything I've accomplished in life. I love the sunny and peaceful atmosphere of my apartment, along with the freedom to socialize with friends whenever I want. The food is fantastic, and I even enjoyed the quarantine period. As we transition back to normal, I’m grateful for the amazing job the staff did to protect our health while ensuring our comfort. The Waters Excelsior has been the best experience for my parents! They made the decision to move there over two years ago. The staff at The Waters has exceeded all of our expectations. Friendly to residents and family members, going out of their way to touch base on a personal level shows their compassion for their residents. During the pandemic, The Waters has remained nearly 100% Covid free, implementing creative solutions to engage residents while following strict guidelines to maintain a healthy and happy community. My mother is currently a resident at The Waters of Excelsior and has been for almost three years. In Sept 2020, we moved my mother from her third floor apartment to the first floor Specialty Care Unit. The move has given our family peace of mind, her needs are better met and we know she is in great hands! I think the staff does an incredible job, especially during these challenging times with Covid. I appreciate the daily activities that are made available to the residents and how each holiday, special events and even your birthday are made very special by the staff.
The Waters is all you'ld hope for in your senior years! There's plenty to do as long as you take advantage of all the activities listed on the weekly schedule. I couldn't ask for more.There's only one thing I wish they'd do differently. No one must budget for Christmas lights and someone to place (hang) them, as they do for Shorewood Landing just down the road from The Waters. We look like a poor step-sister in comparison. My mom moved into The Waters of Excelsior a little over a year ago and we both have been overwhelmed by the amazing staff, delicious food, and fun activities. It was a big transition for her to move from her big home to apartment living, but the high ceilings, beautiful kitchen and good sized laundry room made things much easier. She loves her apartment. I look forward to living there someday!
My mother lives at The Waters of Excelsior. The Waters is a wonderful residence! The staff is an amazing group of people who always seem to go over and above the call of duty, especially right now during this pandemic. My heart is at peace knowing how much they really do care for all the residents. Thank you!
My mom and dad moved into The Waters in October (from out of state, to be near their kids)and I couldn’t be happier. The staff has been amazing, the residents have been welcoming and they have a great apartment. I need to give a special shout out to Christina Newton. She has a heart of gold.
The Waters of Excelsior is a wonderful place! Clean, bright, with caring energetic staff. It has been a blessing to have our mom living there.
