Went here after walking downhill from Scarborough Castle of the hottest day in September (9/9/2023 . When we came in, the foreperson said that there may be some tables at the back that could fit us (tables and chairs on ground floor bolted down. We were barely able to fit in, so one of the members of staff, Julie, said that we could eat upstairs as the chair were able to be pulled out and would be more comfortable for us. I ordered the Large Haddock and my wife the Scampi and chips. We both agreed that these were the best of out respective meals that we've ever had.
