The food that is available is nice the staff r plsanent In my opinion it is too pricey , not a specialist bakery, just a bakery whom can charge what it wants as it is one of 3 shops in the town, please add more variety in your selections , and if you expect people to pay premium price perhaps use a butter based pastry instead of a cheaper water style pastry. 6 out of 10 overall score staff clean shop r great. But you go to the bakery for great food Regards Mark Doyle
Disappointed to say the least, was one of the best bakery’s on the northern GC until it changed hands. Used to love going down getting a pie and jam doughnut and sitting by the river. They’ve cut all the stock down by less than half. Removed a drink fridge meaning less variety. Removed a cabinet of food meaning less choice. Half the amount of cakes slices to pick from. And now they’re only open Thursday, Friday, Saturday ? Food: 1
Popped in to grab some pies as they were closing and the staff welcomed us and had excellent service even though we were holding them up from closing. Chucked in and extra pie for us and a sweet treat. Pies were awesome !!! Highly recommend. Lady said the mushy pea curry pie was the bomb and were she wasn’t wrong !!! Disgusting. Disgusting. Disgusting. My sausage roll was red raw upon arriving Home and cutting into it. My coffee beans were burnt and bitter. There are better places. Appalling.
