This pub is quite a find. It is situated at the foot of the Malverns and has lovely views over Herefordshire countryside, which can be enjoyed from the garden and outside tables. There's an extensive menu with lots of daily specials, that takes it well beyond pub classics to some interesting tastes. Everything is well cooked and well presented, and portions are not small so it's ideal after a day tramping the hills. The beer is good, there are some interesting and good value wines, and the landlord is very welcoming just a shame it's not our local!

We happened on this wonderful gem of a pub by chance. We had been walking all round Eastnor Castle on the first lovely Saturday of the New Year and decided to celebrate with a traditional pub lunch. Drove a ‘solid’ couple of miles up the road to The Wellington Inn to find a delightful welcome, lovely fire and delicious food and beer. The dog even got a biscuit and water on tap; terrific. The perfect end to a perfect morning. It was also fantastic value. We will certainly be returning and cannot recommend more highly!

Lunch with family was excellent. This is a lovely, cosy, old-fashioned pub with a great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. The food was well-presented, deliciously tasting and good value for money. My wife is Gluten Free but this did not cause any problem. I can certainly recommend the prawn starter and the pie of the day. The portion sizes were certainly ample; unfortunately, no room for a dessert.

Went to this pub twelve months ago and thought how good it was. Returned last night and was so pleased to say it was just as good. Great starter, main and great desert. Yes, had all three and loved them all. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and the drinks were good too, but driving so could only have a couple. Réservez une table maintenant

Found all the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. Some of the best hospitality I've experienced in a while. Very attentive and even very welcoming to the dog. Lovely quiet setting only sad I visited in the evening so I was unable to see the view. Would absolutely return.

The food and welcome is consistently excellent. We have ended up here a few times for lunch whilst passing though, and now make a point to stop by whenever we are in the area. Great views, great hospitality, great beer and the food is always spot on.

We sat outside to eat, and although the road can be a bit noisy, it was worth it for the views. The food was lovely, and there were several specials added to the daily menu, which all sounded good. Well worth a visit.
