The Wembley Hotel - Réserver une table

Would have like to give stars rather than four as it wasn't at a four all over level for food service and value. Restaurant had a fire place and a combination of booths and tables. There was one section where there was really high...glassed ceilings but we weren't in that section. Easy online booking system. There is a really large food and drinks menu which is great and the food was a solid out of The Wembley burger needed some more greens fresh salad in it. Table was clean and there is table service. A very polite Peter answered my call when i rang and booked a table for two at the Wembley last night, upon arrival we were greeted by a bright bubbly Denise who showed us too our table, organised drinks, she even offered my wife a...taste of cider to ensure the drink was going to be suitable. We ordered the caesar salad with prawns and the fish of the day, both were excellent and of generous proportions, Denise continued her excellent service ensuring we had additional drinks if required. We had a great night and will certainly go back and support our local

Delayed response as I was unaware that my collegue who invited us for lunch here had not complained to the staff but paid for the unfinished meals. I had assumed he had made a complaint but I've only just found out he hadn't brought it...to the staffs attention. Besides that, I am totally surprised the staff even served this food. The chips were inedible and the Thai beef salad had very little beef, and the beef was chunky and thickly cut. The pappadums were full of oil. Very disappointing considering its in an affluent location and has a great atmosphere.

As it's my local I got to love it ha ha I do love the food menu shake up that has happened.
