great local pub in the heart of bath. it can be easily missed due to the narrow streets. If you want to take a bite to eat while shopping, go to dinner or just catch up with friends, this place can take care of all. I was here during football and it was a great atmosphere. they have several large screens and space loads. there's an upper floor and I just felt that this pub had areas that are perfect for meeting and still private. they work on an app purchase that I can see that the way forward for most pubs now. no longer the days of standing on a bar that need to wait to be served. the dirty burgers were great and full of taste.
Staff are really friendly, you can tell they have a passion about the pub. Such a difference from how it used to be. The reputation has really improved throughout the whole pub, including the food which is gorgeous. I had a good chat to the manager, you can tell her really cares about every customer and every member of staff. I have booked in friends birthday in a couple of weeks and have the whole of the top bar to ourselves which I'm really looking forward too. Well done to all at The Westgate
An amazing place to be, very chilled and warm. They treated us very well and allowed our small pup to come in (very dog friendly . Food and drinks were spot on and will be coming here again! Also if you love cider definitely come here, cause they have some really really good different types (which is quite dangerous haha
The woman working at the bar was extremely friendly and talkative. I am not typically a fan of Greene King Pubs, but this place was different, mostly due to the staff at the bar. I only spent 55p with my £10 gift card for 2 and a half beers, which was a great deal. I will definitely return and pay full price next time.

We went to the restaurant on Tuesday night for dinner. The atmosphere was good and cozy. Our server, Emily, was friendly and welcoming. She brought our drinks quickly and made sure we were enjoying our meal. The food arrived promptly and was delicious, thanks to Chef Tahvo!
Lovely pub in the heart of Bath city centre. Had a couple drinks with my friends on a busy Saturday afternoon and also had the dirty nacho waffle fries which were delicious! Everything was clean and organized, I definitely enjoyed my afternoon here!

great vegan options. a lot of seats were reserved to find a place. the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend the jackfruit wing. delicious.
Really lovely and affordable. Great selection of ciders. Good menu. I went for the Sundau roast. Very tasty. Staff are lovely and it's a big enough place.
